Alfonso Acevedo is the President, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of America News, New England's oldest Hispanic newspaper. He is the former President and Founder of the Blackstone Valley Merchants Association, co-founded with 12 other small businesses. Alfonso is also a volunteer Art Director at the Central Falls Library, where he teaches art classes to children under The New Millennium Art Factory program.
