Sen. Pichardo to hold community briefing on public safety

Providence senator urges residents to work together with local, state police to make neighborhoods safer.
STATE HOUSE – In the wake of a violent year in the city, particularly in his district of Elmwood, South Providence and the West End, Sen. Juan M. Pichardo will hold a community briefing on public safety for his constituents, at which top law enforcement officials will be available to answer questions, provide insight and address concerns.
The briefing will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Community Center located at 155 Niagara St. in Providence .
